The Fusilier Museum

Come and spend the day concocting trench slime, discovering weaponry, making poppies, dressing up, going on parade or writing to fighting Fusiliers across the globe.

Education is vital to our work here at The Fusilier Museum.  We offer a varied programme for all ages and abilities.

Our guided tours and workshops for primary schools are suitable for Foundation to Year 6.  The regiment’s story spans over 300 years and we bring this story to life through our engaging, interesting and participatory workshops.

About The Fusilier Museum

The Fusilier Museum and Learning Centre is an Educational Charity (No 1115452).  We are a not for profit organisation and invest all our income into protecting, caring and communicating about our collection.

The museum is governed by a Board of Trustees, headed up by Chairman Colonel Brian Gorski.  There is a team of permanent staff who run the museum and a large group of volunteers (of all ages, experiences and backgrounds) who help to bring the museum to life.

The Fusilier Museum is home to the Regional Secretary for the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers, the Army Recruiting Team and SSAFA too so we are a one stop shop for all things Fusilier in the North West.

In addition to our museum there are three other Fusilier Museums in the UK located in Alnwick Castle, St John's House Warwick and The Tower of London next door to the Crown Jewels!
