The charity was formed in 2011 by a church group motivated to help the vulnerable and needy. This remains the motivation of the key personnel, to continue to redress health and wellbeing issues in the community. Our market research and daily work with members of the local community has enabled us to identify the necessity of our work.
The Simply Limitless Wellbeing Centre works with the Voluntary Community Services, Clinical Commissioning Group, Social Services and the Local Authorities to tackle these issues.
We provide specialist support to Health and social care professionals and organisations to enable them to put health and wellbeing at the core of what they do. We have, and are continuing to demonstrate a sustainable impact within the health and wellbeing sector.
We are an innovator in the health and wellbeing sector offering bespoke products and services to create optimum health and wellbeing for individuals and promote this into the community.
The Role of the Simply Limitless Wellbeing Centre is to champion health and wellbeing in our region. We aim to engage, influence, drive and coordinate collaborative effort across sectors to reduce inequalities and improve health and wellbeing, alongside informing and influencing the direct commissioning of health and social care.

It is a well known fact that charities cannot maintain their vital work in society without volunteers but it is a less well known fact that volunteering is good for your health.
The NHS have done some research into this and have shown that giving up a little time to help groups of other people can benefit the volunteer in the following ways; it can help decrease depression & social isolation, it helps people cope with illness by taking their minds off their own issues, volunteers are often healthier and it can help improve their family relationships by making them more caring.
It also raises self esteem and sense of purpose. In a nutshell by helping other people we too start to feel better about ourselves.
Local charity Simply Limitless is one such community charity that relies upon its volunteers to help run their well being Centre and varied programmes all designed to benefit the local community.
Currently the volunteers help to run Make lunch projects which feed families in holiday times, help socially isolated elderly in the
Reconnections programme, run the hugely popular Family Activity Sessions each week and many other activities for a variety of ages. As CEO Paul Raper says ‘ our volunteers are amazing and we have great fun delivering these services’.
Other organisations such as Age UK Hereford & Worcestershire are recognising the valuable contribution Simply Limitless makes to the Wyre Forest and are accessing their services more and more.
As they continue to offer further projects more volunteers are needed. It could be that you have a little time available in the week or evenings that would allow you to help out. Amongst the current volunteers which range in age from 16 to 94, there are those who work full time and those who are retired.
There are students, young parents and grandparents from all backgrounds who are thoroughly enjoying the fulfilling task of helping others. As one man in his fifties who works full time told me, ‘ Being a volunteer gives me a purpose away from the world of work and I love seeing lives change as we work as a team to help this community’.
