Thanks to research, we understand more about cancer than ever before. We have more advanced technologies and better treatments. That’s why we’ve seen cancer survival rates double in 40 years – from one in four to two in four.
It’s an incredible achievement, but it’s not good enough. We want things moving faster and believe that together we will achieve this.
We have a clear goal to see at least three in four people surviving within the next 20 years.
If it sounds ambitious, that’s because it is. But we have some of the world’s best scientists, doctor’s nurses and policy makers with us. We also have a new strategy to make sure we achieve.
We receive no government funding for our research – every step we take towards beating cancer relies on people like you.
