For nearly 30 years Care UK has been leading the way in providing care and support for older people.

They provide care and support for more than 5,000 people across the country in nearly a hundred different care homes and day care clubs. Their team are also providing over 120,000 hours of support for people in their homes, while their extra care facilities offer supported accommodation providing a mix between residential care and community living.

Brook Court is a brand new care home due to open later in 2013 on Oldnall Road, about a mile from Kidderminster.

Brook Court is set on a hill in a quiet, leafy spot overlooking Kidderminster Golf Course and residents will enjoy stunning views across the valley to a viaduct where the steam trains of the Severn Valley Railway sometimes run.

They’ll be close to more modern forms of transport too, with the nearby A448 and A449 putting the home within easy reach of the main motorway links of the West Midlands. There’ll be ample parking for visitors, and Kidderminster will be just a quick bus ride away.

This purpose-built care home will offer all the latest facilities and a focus on luxurious living. On the ground floor the in-house cinema, hair salon and contemporary coffee shop will create a lively but relaxed atmosphere and be a lovely setting to catch up with visitors and loved ones.

Brook Court will offer more than 60 bedrooms over three floors. Many of the rooms will have different outlooks and layouts, so there’s sure to be one that your loved one will like. The ground floor rooms will be close to the indoor ‘village’ area with a café, lounge and cinema, so may be popular with those who like to be in the centre of things.

Some of the downstairs floors will offer direct access to our courtyards. What’s more, each floor will have its own dining room and lounge. This helps to create a more intimate atmosphere within the home, something that is particularly helpful for residents living with dementia.
