About Age UK Torbay

Age UK Torbay is the new name for Age Concern Torbay. Age UK Torbay is a registered Charity, and has been working with older people in the Torbay area since 1980, helping them to get more out of life. Age UK Torbay is committed to making later life a fulfilling and enjoyable experience for all older people in Torbay.

An important part of our work is representing older people and making their views, wishes and needs known to the appropriate authorities in Torbay. Through Age UK we are also involved in campaigning on a range of key issues affecting older people.

Our services

Older people are now more likely to live longer in their own homes, but require support to continue to do so.

Age UK Torbay provide a range of care and support services to promote the well being of all older people in Torbay and to make later life a fulfilling experience.

Care services focus on the maintenance of good physical and mental health and the promotion of independent living. Support services focus on enabling people to make informed decisions on how they wish to live.
