About Us

We're a charity that provides housing, support and care for people at different stages of later life. We're also a not-for-profit organisation with one mission: to enhance the quality of life for older people by making their lives easier and more fulfilling.

Living at home can become harder as you get older. But choosing to move into supported living accommodation doesn't have to mean losing your independence. In fact, many of our residents tell us it feels like a new beginning.

We've developed a choice of accommodation to suit a whole range of needs and preferences.  Of course, choosing what's best for you or a loved one can feel daunting, so we're also on hand to offer our advice and experience if you need it.  Our flexibility gives you lots of options to carry on living life as you want to. 

Abbeyfield has a range of accommodation specifically designed to help you continue living as you want to. And just as importantly, we've worked hard to create and atmosphere that's reassuring, supportive and friendly, and which keeps you in touch with your local community.  

We understand everyone is different and can have very different requirements, depending on their individual circumstances.
